Technical Specifications User manual
The Victron Energy Isolation Transformer 2000W provides galvanic isolation between shore power and a boat’s onboard AC electrical system. Designed for marine applications, it helps prevent galvanic corrosion while improving electrical safety. Its low-noise toroidal construction, built-in soft start and voltage-conversion capability make it suitable for compatible marine power systems.
FEATURES
Galvanic isolation: Electrically separates the vessel’s AC system from shore power to help prevent shore-originated galvanic corrosion.
Voltage conversion: Supports 115V or 230V AC input and 120V or 240V AC output, depending on configuration.
Soft start: Limits startup current to help prevent shore-power circuit breakers from tripping.
Toroidal design: Provides quiet, efficient operation with a compact transformer design.
Thermal protection: Temperature-controlled fan cooling and overtemperature shutdown help protect the unit.
Marine safety: Allows a properly configured onboard grounding system while maintaining electrical separation from shore ground.
