Technical Specifications User manual
The Victron Energy Isolation Transformer 3600W provides galvanic isolation between shore power and a vessel’s onboard AC electrical system. Designed for marine applications, it helps prevent galvanic corrosion while maintaining a properly grounded and electrically safe installation. Its low-noise toroidal design and built-in soft-start circuitry make it suitable for boats and other compatible marine power systems.
FEATURES
Galvanic isolation: Electrically separates the vessel’s AC system from shore power to help prevent galvanic corrosion.
Voltage conversion: Supports compatible 115V and 230V AC input/output configurations, with a 1:1.05 transformer ratio.
Soft start: Limits startup current to help prevent shore-power circuit breakers from tripping.
Toroidal design: Provides quiet operation and efficient power transfer.
Thermal protection: Temperature-controlled fan cooling and overtemperature shutdown help protect the transformer.
Marine electrical safety: Supports a properly configured onboard grounding system while maintaining electrical separation from shore ground.
