Datasheets Manual
The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 is a high-efficiency solar charge controller that optimizes energy harvested from solar panels to charge 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V battery systems. Built-in Bluetooth enables wireless setup, monitoring, and firmware updates through the VictronConnect app. Its advanced MPPT technology helps maximize solar production, even when sunlight conditions change.
FEATURES
45A charging current: Supports battery banks from 12V to 48V.
150V maximum PV voltage: Accepts solar arrays with an open-circuit voltage up to 150V.
High efficiency: Peak conversion efficiency of 98%.
Built-in Bluetooth: Configure and monitor the controller through VictronConnect.
VE.Direct connection: Connects to compatible GX devices and other monitoring equipment.
Flexible charging: Eight preset charging algorithms or a user-configurable profile.
Electronic protection: Protection against PV reverse polarity, output short circuits, and overheating.
Temperature compensation: Integrated temperature sensor adjusts charging voltage.
Battery recovery: Can initiate charging with a fully discharged battery under supported conditions.

IMPORTANT: The 150V PV limit must not be exceeded, including under cold-weather conditions when panel voltage increases. Verify the array's open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current before installation. Excess PV power may be limited by the controller, but exceeding its electrical limits can damage the unit.
