Sprayed Cork Insulation Coating – Camper Van & Vanlife Builds

A natural spray-applied cork insulation coating designed for camper vans, van conversions, and overland builds. It improves thermal comfort, acoustic performance, and condensation control, while offering an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic insulation products.

Easy to apply and suitable for both DIY builders and professional installers, it creates a durable interior insulation layer for metal van shells.

Application Method

• Apply using a texture spray gun (8 mm nozzle)
• Compressor: 90 L recommended (minimum 25 L possible)
• Pressure: 3–4 bar
• Mix ratio: 1:1 with water
• Apply in multiple coats:
  • Light bonding coat
  • Second filling coat after 24 hours
  • Optional third coat for additional thickness
• Optional sanding with 240-grit for smoother finish
• Clean tools immediately with water
