Relocating the spare tire to the rear door makes it much easier to access and creates more space for installing tanks and accessories underneath your van. A ladder on the rear door provides hassle-free roof access to load and grab gear, clean the solar panels, or to enjoy the sunset from your rooftop deck. 

The Transit Ladder and Tire Carrier was crafted with durability in mind and is constructed with a sturdy yet lightweight 1.75” aluminum tube frame. Corrosion-resistant wheel studs, a stainless steel wheel mount, locking lug nuts, and an adjustable locking rod come included and fit all wheel and tire sizes for Transit. Dimples in the ladder rungs and a machined aluminum design on the foot pegs provide the traction you want when climbing on the ladder - and have been tried, tested, and approved in the rainy PNW. This product also features the dual-shock silicone damper we’ve designed to give the body of the van ultimate protection even with repeated use.
