Relocating the spare tire to the rear door makes it much easier to access and creates more space for installing tanks and accessories underneath your van. A ladder on the rear door provides hassle-free roof access to load and grab gear, clean the solar panels, or to enjoy the sunset from your rooftop deck. 

The Transit Ladder and Tire Carrier was crafted with durability in mind and is constructed with a sturdy yet lightweight 1.75” aluminum tube frame. Corrosion-resistant wheel studs, a stainless steel wheel mount, locking lug nuts, and an adjustable locking rod come included to fit the most common wheel and tire sizes for Transit. Dimples in the ladder rungs and a machined aluminum design on the foot pegs provide the traction you want when climbing on the ladder - and have been tried, tested, and approved in the rainy PNW. This product also features the dual-shock silicone damper we’ve designed to give the body of the van ultimate protection even with repeated use.

To ensure a perfect fit with the most common wheel and tire sizes, a machined aluminum spacer is included. Select the option compatible with your van:

DUAL-SHOCK PROTECTION

The Transit Rear Ladder + Tire Carrier uses our proprietary dual-shock dampener. This silicone dampener protects the body of your Transit from any impact damage when closing the door. The dual shock function absorbs the shock in both directions to handle the extra weight of the spare tire and absorb any bounce-back momentum.

2-IN-1 DESIGN

This 2-in-1 design eliminates the need to pick between a spare tire carrier or a ladder on the rear of the driver’s side, and leaves the passenger side open for other rear door products.
