The Sprinter faces challenges when pushed off road, especially under heavy loads that exceed factory design limits. From rugged Alpine trails to the harsh terrain of Baja, these vans are often used beyond their intended purpose. The Baja Bracket Rear Shock Mount by Van Compass addresses a critical weakness in the Sprinter’s rear suspension: the original single shear upper shock bolt. While suitable for street use, this design subjects the bolt to significant stress off road, risking stretching or failure at the chassis mounting point. Our precision-engineered bracket reinforces both sides of the upper shock bushing, eliminating the fulcrum effect that leads to bolt shear. Crafted from laser-cut, CNC-bent 3/16" steel, welded for exact fitment, and powder-coated for durability, the bracket includes a machined tubular brace to distribute shock loads safely along the frame. Installation is straightforward with slotted holes and a full hardware kit. Van Compass ensures your Sprinter stays reliable no matter how remote the journey. Van Further.
