Norva YAK Tire Carrier Kit – Rear Spare Tire Mount for YAK Carrier

The Norva YAK Tire Carrier Kit allows you to relocate your Sprinter's spare tire to the rear door using an existing YAK carrier. Designed to accommodate tires up to 33", the kit can be installed on either the driver- or passenger-side YAK carrier. Two short YAK horns help support and position the tire securely, while the stainless steel threaded rod and conical rubber washer provide a solid mounting system.

Relocating the spare tire improves access and can free the original under-vehicle spare-tire location for other equipment, such as a water tank or additional diesel tank. The threaded rod includes a hole for adding a padlock (not included). The YAK carrier's symmetrical design also allows the kit to be used on either rear door and makes it possible to transport up to two spare tires when configured appropriately.

Installation: Beginner level; approximately 0.5 hour.

Tools required: Anti-seize lubricant, painter's masking tape, pencil, padlock, and two 15/16" adjustable wrenches or ratchets with 15/16" sockets.
