The Universal Proto Bracket is a modular exterior support system designed for van life, overland, and utility applications. Engineered to fit Sprinter, Promaster, and Transit vans with the appropriate hinge mounting hardware, this bracket offers a highly adaptable platform for mounting storage boxes, sports equipment, BBQ accessories, and other gear you prefer to keep outside your living space. Its articulated design follows the opening movement of the rear doors, maintaining easy access to the interior of the vehicle.

Compatibility & Installation

• Compatible with Sprinter, Promaster, and Transit vans using model-specific hinge mounts
• Suitable for Promaster vans with or without rear windows
• Installs using existing rear door mounting points
• No drilling required except for two small holes behind the Mercedes logo on Sprinter models
• Overloading accessories or storage systems may damage doors and hinges and void warranty
• Rear proximity sensors may detect the bracket during reversing
• Fully loaded doors should be closed gently to reduce stress on hinges and mounting points
