The UpStep RS3 is a fully mechanical side step designed for commercial vans, mobility applications, and last-mile delivery fleets. It automatically deploys when the side door opens and retracts when the door closes, using the natural movement of the door without electrical components, wiring, or motors.
Its wide 3 ft² tread area provides more usable stepping surface than many fixed-step designs, helping provide safer and easier vehicle entry. Constructed from 14-gauge steel, the RS3 is designed for demanding commercial use and can operate in both hot and cold conditions without relying on electrical components.
