Victron Energy Quattro Inverter/Charger

Dual AC Input, True Sine Wave Inverter, Adaptive Charger, and Hybrid Power Manager

The Victron Quattro is a high-performance inverter/charger designed for demanding energy systems. Like the MultiPlus, it combines a true sine wave inverter, advanced adaptive battery charging, and hybrid PowerAssist technology—but with an added advantage: dual AC inputs for seamless switching between two independent power sources such as shore power and generator.

• Dual AC Inputs with Automatic Transfer Switch

Connect two AC sources—such as a generator and the utility grid. The Quattro automatically detects and switches to the active source without manual input.

• Two AC Outputs

• Primary Output: No-break functionality ensures connected loads continue operating during power source transfers (less than 20 ms delay).
• Secondary Output: Live only when AC is available—ideal for non-essential loads like water heaters.

• Split-Phase and Three-Phase Capability

• Stack 2 units for 120/240V split-phase power.
• Stack 3 units for three-phase systems.
• Parallel up to 4 sets of 3 units for a total of 96 kW / 120 kVA inverter power and 1600 A+ charging capacity.

• PowerControl & PowerAssist

• PowerControl: Set AC input limits to avoid overloading generators or shore power connections.
• PowerAssist: Supplements generator or grid power with battery power during peak loads. Automatically recharges the battery when the load drops.

• Solar-Ready & Off-Grid Capable

Seamlessly integrates into off-grid or grid-connected solar PV systems. Works with MPPT solar chargers and grid-tie inverters. Supports loss-of-mains detection for energy continuity during grid failure.

• DIP switch settings for stand-alone systems
• Use VE.Bus Quick Configure or VE.Bus System Configurator for parallel and 3-phase setups
• Configure complex applications (off-grid, self-consumption) using Victron Assistants

• GX devices (e.g., Color Control GX, Cerbo GX)
• Battery Monitors, Multi Control Panel, smartphones/tablets (via Bluetooth), or PCs (via USB/RS232)

• Remotely adjust settings and monitor performance via internet-connected GX device
