Adhesive Instructions – Floor Kit

Recommended Adhesive: SOUDASEAL FC

For optimal floor bonding, we recommend using Soudaseal FC, a high-performance polymer adhesive. It offers 25% elasticity, allowing it to absorb temperature changes and vehicle movement without cracking or losing grip.

Installation Steps:

1. Surface Preparation:
   • Clean and degrease the van’s metal floor. The surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust or oil.
2. Adhesive Application – Van Floor Ribs:
   • Apply continuous beads of Soudaseal FC adhesive along each raised rib of the van’s metal floor.
3. Installing the 1" Insulation (if used):
   • Place the 1" extruded insulation panels directly onto the fresh adhesive, pressing down firmly for good contact.
   • Let sit for a few minutes to allow initial bonding.
4. Adhesive Application – Insulation Surface:
   • Apply Soudaseal FC again, this time on top of the insulation panels, using continuous lines.
5. Installing the Pre-Cut Floor Panels:
   • Lay down the pre-cut puzzle-style floor panels over the adhesive, fitting them together carefully.
   • Press down firmly across the entire surface to ensure full contact.
6. Optional: Weighted Curing:
   • If possible, apply evenly distributed weight across the floor for at least 24 hours to enhance bonding strength during curing.
