The Van Compass Baja Bracket Rear Shock Mount reinforces the factory upper shock mounting point on 2007–present Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 vans. The factory single-shear design places significant cyclical stress on the shock bolt during off-road use, potentially causing the bolt to stretch, loosen, or eventually shear. This double-shear shock bracket captures both sides of the upper shock bushing, reducing stress and distributing shock loads more effectively through the frame rail.

INSTALLATION

 Installation is designed for basic hand tools. Before ordering, verify that there are no plumbing or wiring obstructions around the spring hanger. Some converted vans may have plumbing or wiring routed through the passenger-side spring hanger and could require additional modification for proper bracket installation.
