The Van Compass Stage 3 Opti-Rate Dually System – Mid Tune is a complete suspension upgrade for 2019–present Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 4X4 and AWD dually vans. Designed for heavily loaded adventure vans, Class B and C RVs, and passenger vans, the system combines VC-tuned Falcon 2.1 Monotube shocks, a full Opti-Rate rear leaf spring system, and progressive Bump Buddy jounce bumpers to correct rear sag, restore approximately 1.25" of lost ride height, and improve handling, stability, ride comfort, and load control on and off road.

  • Falcon 2.1 Monotube Shocks – Mid Tune: Front and rear shocks with larger damper pistons reduce body roll, sway, and harsh impact response while improving control on rough roads and trails
  • Opti-Rate Full Replacement Rear Leaf Springs: Designed specifically for dually Sprinters to restore approximately 1.25" of rear ride height, correct sag from heavy builds, and maintain factory axle positioning and suspension geometry
  • Progressive Bump Buddy Jounce Bumpers: Improve spring progression and bottom-out resistance without the harshness or noise associated with factory rubber stops
  • Provides a more balanced stance, improved stability, reduced sway, and better ride quality under heavy loads
  • Ideal for: Adventure vans, camper conversions, Class B and C RVs, and dually passenger vans operating at or near GVWR

INSTALLATION & COMPATIBILITY

 Vans equipped with the HD Rear A/C Package may require slight adjustment and re-securing of refrigerant lines during front shock installation. Not compatible with Sumo Spring Rebel kits, specifically part numbers SSR-327-47-2 and SSR-327-40-2, due to interference between the Sumo Spring bracket and shock body. Special order: Allow 2–4 weeks for processing and shipping. This item cannot be exchanged or refunded.
