The Victron SmallBMS NG is a compact, cost-effective Battery Management System (BMS) designed exclusively for Victron Lithium NG batteries. It ensures safe operation by managing charge and load disconnects, issuing pre-alarms, and protecting against undervoltage conditions. (Not compatible with Victron Lithium Smart batteries.)

Bluetooth Smart Integration
Configure, monitor, and update the system wirelessly via the VictronConnect app. The Instant Readout function provides quick access to essential data such as state of charge, battery temperature, warnings, and alarms—right from the device list. -
Charge & Load Disconnect Outputs
- Load Output: Controls devices like a BatteryProtect, DC-DC converters, or Victron inverters with remote on/off. Supports up to 1A—suitable for contactors or high-current relays.
- Charge Output: Manages compatible chargers (e.g., Blue Smart IP43, Cyrix-Li-Charge relay). Not intended for direct use with inductive loads.

Pre-Alarm Output
Activates visual or audible warnings (LED, buzzer, relay) at least 30 seconds before the load is disconnected due to low battery voltage. Max output: 1A (not short-circuit protected). -
Remote On/Off Control
A dedicated terminal allows for system-wide enable/disable of both charge and load outputs. -
LED Status Indicators
- Blue: Bluetooth status
- Red: Warning and error indications

Discharge Floor Protection
Set a custom minimum state-of-charge (SoC) to prevent over-discharge. Automatically triggers warnings and disconnects to protect battery health.
Battery Compatibility & System Limits:
- Battery Type: Victron Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) NG only
- System Voltages: 12.8V, 25.6V, or 51.2V

Battery Bank Configuration:
- Up to 50 batteries for 12V/24V systems (max 384kWh)
- Up to 25 batteries for 48V systems (max 128kWh)
⚠️ Not compatible with VE.Bus MultiPlus or Quattro inverter/chargers — use VE.Bus BMS NG for those applications.
